70's Single Fin Channel Bottom
Inspired by Chris Samaniego, our channel bottom version of the 70's Single Fin has a more progressive outline than the standard 70's Single Fin. The wide point is pushed forward allowing you to ride off your front foot. It accelerates down the face of the wave and hooks into the pocket easily. This board has a blend of slight Vee through the nose, transitioning into a subtle concave center. The mid-section of the board is where the magic starts, 6 channels start behind your front foot and run through the tail. The channels squeeze the water through the tail of the board adding speed, lift and grip. This combination gives you confidence when the wave steepens and you need to run down the line. The 70's Single Fin Channel Bottom has a more progressive fuller rail with meat on the bone. Ride this board up to 4" shorter than your height and 12" – 18" above your height. The 70's Single Fin Channel Bottom is great for waves that are shoulder high to a few feet overhead and beyond.
